Your child’s ABA treatment plan is the individualized roadmap that guides their therapy — built by a BCBA from a thorough assessment and updated as your child grows.
A treatment plan typically includes your child’s current strengths and needs, specific and measurable goals, the strategies that will be used to teach them, how progress will be measured, and your family’s priorities. It’s genuinely individualized — the plan belongs to your child, not a template.
The plan isn’t fixed. Your BCBA reviews data regularly and adjusts goals as your child masters skills and new priorities emerge. You’re part of this process — your input shapes the goals, and you’ll see how progress is tracked over time.

Yes. Your family's priorities are central to a good treatment plan, and you should be part of setting and reviewing goals throughout therapy.
